An update to the Walt Disney World calendar confirms that the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade will return to twice-nightly performances starting in mid-February. The new parade has only had one performance per night during slower weekday nights so far this year, but as crowds return, so too will a second nightly performance. Here’s the latest.
Disney Starlight Parade Returns to Twice-Nightly Performances Feb. 12th
Walt Disney World began the once-per-night cadence back on January 6th, only adding a second performance for Fridays and Saturdays since then. The reduction in performances is believed to be related to lower crowds this time of year. Well, as we get into mid-February and then Spring Break season after that, crowds should start to build. Here’s a look at the new Disney Starlight parade schedule heading into next month.

- January 30-31 | 7:45pm and 10pm
- February 1-5 | 7:45pm only
- February 6-7 | 7:45pm and 10pm
- February 8-11 | 7:45pm only
- February 12-21 (NEW) | 7:45pm and 10pm
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away officially debuted back in July, and it was the first nightly parade at Walt Disney World in nearly a decade. Our review of the parade praised the floats and music, while recognizing room for improvement in some of the white space between the floats.
Walt Disney World has made some adjustments to the parade, and we understand that more are on the way!
Disney Starlight kicks off on Main Street USA, rolling down toward Cinderella Castle before running through Liberty Square and ending in Frontierland. The return of a second showtime will be welcomed by night owl guests, as there are significantly lower crowds during the second performance of the parade.
