Disney Starlight Parade to Continue Reduced Number of Performances at Magic Kingdom

|

Walt Disney World has updated the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away webpage with more showtime information for January 2026. The update shows that Walt Disney World will continue to present a reduced number of performances for the parade this month. Here’s the latest.

Reduced Number of Performances for Disney Starlight Parade

Our previous coverage of the reduction in showtimes for the Disney Starlight parade included information through January 10th. Now, Walt Disney World has updated the schedule through January 17th, and it looks like Disney will continue to present a reduced number of Disney Starlight parade performances. Here’s the latest:

  • January 1-3 | 7:45pm and 10:30pm
  • January 4-5 | 7:45pm and 10:00pm
  • January 6-8 | 7:45pm only
  • January 9-10 | 7:45pm and 10:00pm
  • January 11-15 (NEW) | 7:45pm only
  • January 16-17 (NEW) | 7:45pm and 10:00pm

January 6th will mark the first time that the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade will be performed only once per night since it debuted last Summer. This likely indicates an anticipated reduction in attendance as the holiday season winds down, and we enter a “slower” period at Walt Disney World.

If you’re planning to be at Magic Kingdom on one of the nights with a single Disney Starlight parade performance, we’d expect that guests will find larger-than-normal crowds along the parade route. Typically, the second showing is much easier to view than the first, but with only one performance per night on select nights, we’d expect that single performance to be extra busy.
