Good afternoon from Magic Kingdom, where the Pete’s Silly Sideshow refurbishment has made some progress. When we last checked in on the project scrims and scaffolding had just arrived. Now, there are themed scrims, and the outer tarp roof of the Pete’s Silly Sideshow tent has been removed. Here’s a look!

Tent Tarp Roof Removed from Pete’s Silly Sideshow

As you can see in the photos below, the tent roof has been removed. This is just the outer tarp of the structure. It’s unclear how extensive the refurbishment will be. It could include the interior of the meet and greet location at some point. This is very likely just the first phase of a multi-tent refurbishment that could last until later this year.

Walt Disney World has not announced a reopening date for Pete’s Silly Sideshow or an anticipated closing date for the nearby Big Top Souvenirs gift shop. Make sure to check our Refurbishment tracking page for the latest information on this and all other Walt Disney World refurbishment projects.
