The entrance sign to the former DinoLand USA land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been removed. The removal of the archway comes just days after the land was completely closed to guests. The closure is necessary as part of the next phase of construction for an all-new Tropical Americas land set to open next year. Here’s the latest!

And here’s a look at the area from a recent visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As you can see, the sign was cut off the support columns, which remain in place for now.
