In just a couple of days, the VIPassholder Summer Days activation kicks off at Walt Disney World. As part of the limited-time offering for Annual Passholders, there will be an exclusive meet and greet! Here are the details, along with a look at newly installed walls that will hide the meet and greet away from regular guests.
Themed Walls for Exclusive Annual Passholder Meet & Greet at EPCOT
Starting May 1st, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can enjoy an exclusive meet and greet at EPCOT. Passholders will be able to meet with “some of Mickey Mouse’s best pals for a hug, a photo and, of course, an autograph” through July 31st.
As you’ll see in our photos below, the meet and greet will be held in the Magic Eye Theatre lobby, which is where Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse met during the Disney100 celebration.
The VIPassholder Summer Days meet and greet will be available daily, from 10am to 6pm.
While visiting EPCOT today, we noticed new walls installed in the lobby area of the Magic Eye Theater. These are not construction walls. Instead, they are very likely installed to prevent day guests from thinking that they would be able to join the queue.
In previous years, the VIPassholder Summer Days meet and greet was hidden away in a building that was only accessible to Annual Passholders. This year, the meet and greet would be in full view of regular guests enjoying the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. To prevent confusion, new walls now block views of the meet and greet. The walls are themed to different Disney and Pixar short films. Here’s a look!
