As Pin Tuesday and other special merchandise events continue to grow in popularity, Disney Springs will be rolling out strict enforcement of no overnight queuing, along with other operational changes that should make the experience more fair for all guests. Here are the changes that will take effect in time for the upcoming Pin Tuesday on June 2nd.

Disney Springs to Enforce No Overnight Queue, More Operational Changes for Pin Tuesday and Other Merchandise Events

Starting Tuesday, June 2nd, Disney Springs will be enforcing new rules designed to make merchandise events safer and more fair to all guests attending. The biggest change, and one that has gained some viral recognition within the Disney fan community, is that there will be no overnight queueing allowed.

This means that all guests will be asked to leave the parking garages at the end of the operating day, and access to the garage will not be allowed until 7am on the day of the merchandise event. This includes all vehicles parked in the garage. There will be no overnight parking or access to the garages of any kind.

It’s worth noting that the ride share loops will not open until 7am as well, so make sure that you plan accordingly if you use Ride Share.

Other operational changes aimed at making merchandise events more fair to all guests will be that wristband distribution will take place in a single line in a single location at the Lime Garage. This change will ensure that all guests are able to queue in a single line, regardless of their ability or requirements to use the stairs or elevator.

Typically, Pin Tuesdays draw the largest crowds, but all merchandise events will be subject to the same rules.

These changes were just outlined by the official Disney Springs social media account. Disney says that the changes are based on guest feedback.
