Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has retained its one MICHELIN Star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida, making it three consecutive years the restaurant has held the honor. The 2026 announcement arrived via a digital release on May 28, 2026, and this year was the first time the Florida guide has expanded to cover the entire state.

What the 2026 Retention Means

Victoria & Albert’s holds a unique distinction in the culinary world. As we’ve covered, it became the first restaurant owned and operated by a U.S. theme park to ever earn a MICHELIN Star, receiving that honor in April 2024. Retaining it through 2026 confirms the restaurant’s well-deserved spot on the prestigious list.

This year’s announcement carries added significance. The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida marks the first time the guide has expanded to cover the entire state of Florida. Victoria & Albert’s held its star as the pool of evaluated restaurants grew considerably, making the retention more competitive than in prior years.

In fact, the tougher competition knocked another Disney World restaurant off the MICHELIN star list. Capa at the Four Seasons has lost its star this year.

The History of the MICHELIN Star at Walt Disney World

When the MICHELIN Guide first came to Florida in 2022, Victoria & Albert’s was not yet in the running, having still been closed at the time of the announcement. The restaurant reopened in July 2022 following a full interior refresh.

When the 2024 guide was revealed, Victoria & Albert’s finally earned the recognition many felt was long overdue. As we covered at the time, the milestone was celebrated alongside the MICHELIN Guide Florida Service Award for Maître d’Hôtel Israel Perez, adding a second honor on the same night. Then, as we reported in 2025, the restaurant retained that star for a second consecutive year alongside fellow Walt Disney World-area restaurant Capa at the Four Seasons. Now, the star is back for a third time at Victoria & Albert’s.

What Makes Victoria & Albert’s Stand Out

The MICHELIN Guide’s own description of the restaurant speaks for itself: the experience is intimate, unhurried, and guided by a culinary team that pulls from a wide range of global influences. The experience draws on inspirations spanning Asia to the Nordics to shape a contemporary American menu that changes with the seasons.

Nestled within Disney’s crown jewel, the Grand Floridian Resort, this restaurant is by no means an easy reservation, but the reward is a kind of magic rarely seen these days. The setting is intimate, and the pacing is that of a leisurely, three-hour waltz orchestrated by a brigade of veteran servers. This kitchen cooks with a classic foundation and global inspiration, drawing on influences spanning from Asia to the Nordics. From tuna with caviar and lychee to king salmon with mole verde or Parisian gnocchi with fontina and date, each plate is elegant and enticing. Venison braised with a juniper and porcini crust is sided by a creamy sunchoke puree for another winning dish. Other details like water lists, an ornate coffee and tea service and a serious wine program further impress.

Beyond the food, the restaurant’s sommelier team navigates a wine list of more than 500 selections, with zero-proof pairings also available. Service at Victoria & Albert’s has been recognized separately by MICHELIN as well, with the team earning the MICHELIN Guide Florida Service Award in 2024.

Dining Details: What to Expect

Victoria & Albert’s operates as a prix-fixe dining experience at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Pricing begins at $295 per guest, with optional wine pairings starting at $155 and zero-proof pairings starting at $115. The restaurant holds a semi-formal to formal dress code, and guests must be 10 years of age or older to dine in the main dining room. Reservations are required and historically difficult to secure.

Guests interested in a more exclusive experience can inquire about the Chef’s Table, a private dining option within the restaurant that offers a more intimate look at the kitchen team at work.

Awards and Accolades

The MICHELIN Star is the latest in a long line of recognition for Victoria & Albert’s. The restaurant has held the AAA Five Diamond Award every year since 2000 and the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award consecutively since 2018, making it the only restaurant in Florida to hold both simultaneously. It has also earned the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence and recognition in the Florida Trend Golden Spoon Hall of Fame.

Retaining the MICHELIN Star through a third consecutive guide, and through the broadest version of the Florida edition yet, puts Victoria & Albert’s in rare company. Congratulations to the team at Victoria & Albert’s!
