EPCOT’s La Poutinerie Receives Rooftop Marquee Signage

Rooftop signage is now installed at EPCOT’s rethemed poutine kiosk. We stopped by the area near the Canada Pavilion this afternoon and found dual marquees mounted on the roofline. The Air Canada sponsorship is visible on both, and opening day is just over a week out. Here’s a closer look!

  • Two matching “La Poutinerie” marquees now sit on adjacent faces of the kiosk’s metal roof
  • Each sign pairs a gold winged-propeller emblem with the “Hosted by Air Canada” tagline and red maple-leaf roundel

Dual Marquees Now Crown The Kiosk

The headline addition is signage mounted on the kiosk’s metal roof. Two matching marquees sit on adjacent roof faces, so guests catch the name no matter which way they walk around World Showcase. Each sign carries “La Poutinerie” in bold serif lettering against a light wood-grain panel.

A gold winged-propeller emblem caps each marquee, leaning into the aviation theme that runs through the sponsorship. The signs sit on dark metal frames that match the roof seams. The styling pairs a vintage travel feel with the warm Canadian wilderness look of the surrounding structure.

Air Canada Branding Is Visible on the Marquee

Below the name, each sign includes a “Hosted by Air Canada” tagline with the airline’s red maple-leaf roundel set between the words. This builds on the maple-leaf logo we noted on the wood-slat wall when the first signage and decor appeared earlier this month.

What Else Is in Place Before Opening Day

The signage joins themed details already in place at the kiosk: the maple-leaf roundels on the wood-slat walls, the flying-geese sculptures out front, and the autumn-leaf planters framing the queue. The rolling shrub planters that screened the work area earlier this month are still positioned across the walkway.

The informational boards we covered earlier remain at the entrance, including the “Poutine Around the Globe” panel. The rooftop marquees are the most visible piece to fall into place so far.

The full menu is already known, with the Quรฉbec L’Authentique and Montrรฉal Viande Fumรฉe poutines anchoring the lineup. La Poutinerie Hosted by Air Canada opens July 1 at the Canada Pavilion. We will be there to bring you a first look once the window opens.
