Level99 Exterior Finished as Disney Springs Opening Nears

|

|

The walls have come down around Level99 at Disney Springs, and the finished exterior is now fully visible. We stopped by the West Side on a recent visit to document the completed facade and stack it against the concept art Level99 first shared. The arches and perforated skin made the jump from rendering to reality, though a few details look different in daylight. Here is our look at the building exterior as the project nears the finish line.

Level99 Exterior Construction Is Complete at Disney Springs

The Walls Are Finally Down

Construction walls surrounded this stretch of the West Side for months, and they have now been removed. The full Level99 exterior is visible from the walkway for the first time.

The building takes over the former NBA Experience footprint, which also houses City Works Eatery & Pour House. That restaurant remains open next door, and the two entrances now sit side by side under the finished facade.

A Purple Facade Built From Perforated Metal

The most striking element is the angular skin wrapping the entrance. Iridescent panels shift from deep blue to purple depending on the light, and the surface is perforated with small triangular cutouts.

The peak rises to a sharp point above the doors, with the Level99 logo and vertical wordmark mounted near the top. The whole structure leans forward over the entry, giving the building an aggressive, almost geological silhouette against the sky.

How It Compares to the Concept Art

The concept art previously shared set a high bar, and the finished building mostly clears it. The twin arches, the forward-leaning peak, the vertical wordmark, and the City Works entrance beside it all match the rendering closely.

The biggest difference is the lighting. In the concept art, the arches glow with pink and blue neon outlines, and the facade looks like a luminous dotted screen at night. In daylight, those same arches are bare perforated metal, and the “dots” turn out to be physical triangular cutouts rather than lit pixels. Honestly, the art matches the finished product nicely.

The Entrance and Digital Display

A large circular digital display sits above the main doors. During our visit, it cycled through Level99 branding, including the “A World of Challenges” tagline.

Below the screen, a bank of glass doors forms the primary entrance. The Level99 logo also appears on a secondary display facing the City Works side of the building. This digital display carries over from the former NBA Experience as one of the defining features of the building.
