Diamond Horseshoe reservations are now open, and some guests are booking, but everyone must go through a virtual queue first. As of 8:07pm, Disney is warning guests that reservations may be limited or unavailable by the time their turn arrives. The limited-time lounge opens October 4th in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. Diamond Horseshoe Reservations Open With Virtual Queue at Magic Kingdom

Disney shared the following message as of 8:07pm. “Due to high demand, reservations for The Diamond Horseshoe – Limited Time Offering may be limited or could be unavailable when it’s your turn to enter the site.” Guests must wait in the virtual queue before they reach the booking page, and some are securing reservations once their turn comes. The message also warns that availability may run thin before a guest’s turn arrives.
Reservations opened at 8:00pm ET, an evening slot that breaks from the early-morning release most table-service restaurants use. As we reported when Disney announced the evening launch, Disney has not said why it picked 8:00pm, but it’s likely that it was to allow for demand to be managed better. The lounge serves small plates, nonalcoholic specialty drinks, cocktails, wine, and draft beer once it opens.

Beak and Barrel Set the Virtual Queue Precedent
Disney used a similar setup in August 2025 for The Beak and Barrel, the Pirates of the Caribbean tavern, after an earlier attempt crashed the dining reservation system. A queue for a single restaurant is rare, as we noted when Disney implemented a virtual waiting room for Beak and Barrel reservations.
Beak and Barrel reservations sold out quickly, with opening day available for about 8 to 10 minutes and opening weekend booked solid within another 5 to 8 minutes. Every date sold out for every party size in under two hours. The Diamond Horseshoe is a different venue, but early demand is similar to the Beak and Barrel.
Diamond Horseshoe Booking and Visit Details
Guests who miss out on a reservation have another option. Disney said it will accommodate walk-ups once the pop-up begins. Disney’s website also lists a few ground rules for the lounge.

- Dining Plan meals are not accepted
- Valid admission is required, and a theme park reservation may be required based on admission type
- Closed during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
The menu covers six small plates, four nonalcoholic specialty drinks, five cocktails and a seasonal pour, plus wine and draft beer.
