Closing Date Announced for DINOSAUR Attraction, Remainder of DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom

|

Walt Disney World has confirmed a closing date for the DINOSAUR attraction, Restaurantosaurus dining location, and all remaining DinoLand USA areas. February 1, 2026 will be the final date to experience the DINOSAUR attraction, Restaurantosaurus, and the rest of DinoLand USA. Starting February 2, 2026, the entire area will be closed to guests as part of the reimagining into a Tropical Americas-themed land.

Disney quietly updated a March 2025 blog post with the information. I assume it will be distributed to the Walt Disney World website and mobile app shortly.

DINOSAUR, DinoLand USA Closing Date

If you’re hoping to get in some prehistoric fun, now is your last year to visit DinoLand before it goes extinct. DinoLand U.S.A. will permanently close on February 2, 2026. This means the final day to experience DINOSAUR, The Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, and Restaurantosaurus Lounge is February 1.

DINOSAUR closes February 2, 2026 so you still have time to go fast and visit the past with DINOSAUR. Even after it closes in 2026, the legacy, and asteroid impact, of the Dino Institute will live forever in our hearts.

Restaurantosaurus closes February 2, 2026, so rustle up some grub at Restaurantosaurus— it’s the perfect place to refuel before your next wild adventure in the park.

As a reminder, the DINOSAUR attraction will be rethemed to an Indiana Jones-themed ride, an all-new Encanto ride is currently being built, and new areas of DinoLand USA closed today to make room for an all-new carousel ride.
