This Christmas, Disney will be bringing a movie to theaters that takes a different look at various fairytales. Into The Woods follows different fairytale characters and looks at the consequences of their wishes and quests.
Disney seems to be employing the same “behind-the-fairytale” technique as they did with their recent film, Maleficent. Combine the behind-the-fairytale theme with a lineup that includes Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pane, Johnny Depp, James Cordon, and Emily Blunt, and I think Disney will have another hit on their hands.
