PHOTOS: Aerial Look at Disney Riviera Resort Foundation Construction (September 2017)

Continuing our recent aerial tour of Walt Disney World, we have a new look at the Disney Riviera Resort construction site. With two tower cranes now installed, progress on the upcoming Disney Vacation Club property can begin in earnest.

First, an overview of the site.

An odd flight angle led to an almost perfectly vertical view down on the site. In the following photo we can see lots of foundation pours for the new resort.

A couple photos from a less extreme angle show the vertical structures coming out of the foundation stack pours.

Disney Riviera Resort is scheduled to open in Fall of 2019, around the same time Star Wars Land will be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
