Walls are down in the Chinese Theater courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While most of the work for the transformation from The Great Movie Ride to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is taking place inside the show building, walls had appeared over the summer in the courtyard. It appears that only minor modifications were made.
The former entrance to The Great Movie Ride has been closed off, with an apparently new entrance appearing nearby.
It also looks like signage mounts have been added to the front of the facade.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open next year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Current estimates have it opening ahead of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
