The 2019 Princess Half Marathon Weekend is underway at the Walt Disney World Resort, and there are some road closures of note if you’re traveling around property this weekend. Here’s a list of the road closures and estimated times of closure. Note that the 5k race this morning has completed the minimal impact that it had on roads.
Saturday, February 23rd
- Eastbound Epcot Center Drive (World Drive to Buena Vista Drive) and Epcot Auto Plaza (ramp from southbound World Drive) will close to all traffic at 4 a.m. until approximately 7:30 a.m.
- Westbound Epcot Center Drive (Buena Vista Drive to World Drive) and Westbound Overpass Road (Bonnet Creek to Backstage Lane) will close to all traffic at 5am until approximately 7:30 a.m.
Sunday, February 24th
- Eastbound and westbound Epcot Center Drive (World Drive to Buena Vista Drive) and Epcot Auto Plaza (ramp from southbound World Drive) will close to all traffic at 11 p.m. Saturday until approximately 11 a.m. Sunday.
- Westbound Overpass Road (Bonnet Creek to Backstage Lane) will close to all traffic at 11 p.m. Saturday until approximately 6 a.m. Sunday.
- Southbound World Drive (Seven Seas to Epcot Center Drive) will close to all traffic at 4:30 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m.
- Northbound World Drive (Buena Vista Drive to Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza) will close to all traffic at 5 a.m. until approximately 7:30 a.m.
- New! World Drive North and Southbound from Seven Seas Drive to Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed from approximately 5am – 8:30 a.m
