We made it out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this afternoon to take a look at some projects taking place around the park.
Perhaps the biggest “hidden” project is the construction of the Club 33 location for the park. Club 33 is an exclusive space that requires a tens of thousands of dollars per year annual due on top of an already expensive buy-in. When Disney started offering the Club 33 membership at Walt Disney World, the first three venues to open took over existing spaces. While the three other parks have had a functioning Club 33 location for some time, the club at Disney’s Animal Kingdom required a completely new build. The construction is taking place in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, between the Festival of the Lion King and pathway to Pandora – The World of Avatar.
