MouseGear Gutted at Epcot

As Disney looks to transform Epcot over the next few years, MouseGear will play a big role in the future. Epcot’s biggest gift shop is currently in the midst of an overhaul that has necessitated a tempory location open up in the meantime.

While visiting Epcot recently, we noticed that some of the automatic doors have been removed at one of the main entrances to the gift shop now under the knife.

As you can see in the photos below, the intior of the shop is being gutted to make way for a new layout.

Another entrance also has a pile of rubble at the door as the entire structure is gutted.

It’s worth noting that MouseGear will return to this location in the future with a new look as seen in the concept art below.
