A monorail-themed attraction has been previewed in the upcoming “The Disney Monorail: Imagineering a Highway in the Sky” book. As seen in the video below by Imaginerding on YouTube, the final page of the book previews the “Monorail Mark X” coming to the PLAY! Pavilion at EPCOT.

The page above says “Calling all pilots! A new way to play arrives at the PLAY! pavilion at EPCOT in 2021”. While details are light on what the attraction might entail, you can see the Wedway monorail station in the concept art below.

We have recently seen construction resume at the PLAY! Pavilion, but it’s unknown if Disney will still be able to hit the 2021 target date given the fact that construction was halted during the COVID-19 theme park closures.
