Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be under a phase 2 closure for Halloween. This means that Cast Members will be actively checking MagicBands at transportation points such as watercraft and bus transportation to ensure that guests entering the resort are allowed to be there.
Guests allowed to be at the resort are those who are staying overnight and guests with pony or horseback riding reservations.
Earlier this week, Disney announced a ban on trick-or-treating at the resort, but it remains a popular spot on Halloween. The Walt Disney World website shows the resort as sold out for October 31st.

When our kids were ypu ger this was one of our big yearly vacations. Pack up the kids, their friends and another family and rent a cabin or two at the resort for Halloween Eve and Halloween. It was such a perfect place for them. Some of their greatest memories to this day are those Halloweens we spent there.
