The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has announced that Disney Legend and Imagineer Tony Baxter will be inducted into their Hall of Fame this year.

Baxter has a long list of beloved attractions in the Disney Parks around the world. His candor has made him a Disney fan favorite, and he was inducted as a Disney Legend back in 2013. A few months after being inducted as a Disney Legend, Baxter was forever etched into the history of Disneyland after receiving his very own window on Main Street USA.

Baxter’s long list of projects include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at four different Disney theme parks worldwide, Journey into Imagination at EPCOT, Splash Mountain, Star Tours, and more.

The IAAPA conference is typically held in November at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, but has been moved to a virtual event this year due to COVID-19.
