Multiple Disney KiteTails Performances Cancelled Due to High Winds Today

It’s a windy day in Central Florida after storms passed through the area yesterday. As a result, multiple Disney KiteTails performances were cancelled this morning. The 11:15am and 12:15pm shows were cancelled due to high winds, and afternoon shows remain up in the air on whether or not they will be able to be performed.

Due to the large nature of some of the inflatable character kites, high winds make maneuvering and landing the kites difficult.

Unfortunately, Disney is not updating the My Disney Experience app with showtimes as the performances are cancelled, so guests are forced to check with Cast Members. Cast were hopeful that the afternoon shows could proceed, but are advising guests to check back later.
