A select few members of the media, Cast Members, sweepstakes winners, and Make-A-Wish families have been able to experience a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser test cruise over the past 4-5 weeks, but it seems like at least one person from the aforementioned groups has turned their once-in-a-lifetime free Starcruiser preview into an eBay reselling opportunity.

An eBay user by the name of “thecollector5721” (previously juapeniche0) has listed almost $4,000 worth of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser merchandise from what the user claims is a preview cruise that ends today.

Of course, as unscrupulous as reselling from a preview cruise might be, it looks like it won’t end there. There have been multiple pre-sale listings of more than $1,000 for the Starcruiser-exclusive lightsaber hilt, and one pre-sale of the lightsaber hilt has already been sold for $1,500! The user claims that they are on one of the first cruises in March and that they will ship the lightsaber once they are able to purchase it.

If this type of market continues for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser merchandise, we could see eBay resellers paying for a majority of their cruise with merchandise alone. Disney will implement purchasing restrictions on some of the most coveted items, like the lightsaber hilt, but with eBay listings already popping up from test cruises that were supposed to be tightly controlled, it looks like we could see some extensive reselling once again for a new Disney World merchandise offering.
