In addition to the return of the Disney Cultural Representative Program, Disney Programs has announced that the Disney Cultural Exchange Program will return to Walt Disney World this summer.
Candidates are required to attend an in-person or virtual presentation and interview in one of the following countries: Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, or United Kingdom.
Essentially, the difference between the Cultural Representative Program (CRP) and the Cultural Exchange Program (CEP) is that the CRP is limited to an area of your nationality. For example, if you are from the United Kingdom you’ll be working in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT in the CRP. On the other hand, if you’re in the CEP, you might be from Mexico and work as a lifeguard. The CRP is essentially a tool for Disney to create authentic spaces and experiences within their theme parks by utilizing Cast Members with cultural backgrounds that match the theme of an area.
