Good afternoon from Magic Kingdom where the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade continues to operate with multiple missing parade floats. We originally reported on the weeks-long disappearance of the lead Princess float, but the parade has added another float to the lineup of missing floats. Let’s recap.

Brave Unit

The Brave unit has been missing since the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade returned last year. It is not a recent removal, but it is still notable as a significant removal from the pre-COVID version of the parade. With the announced removal of the Merida meet and greet from Magic Kingdom, we don’t have high hopes that this will return. Again, not a recent removal, but somewhat notable.

Princess Unit

This is the parade float that we previously noted was missing. It remains missing as of today and while we’ve heard that crews are working to bring it back, it’s not immediately clear when it’ll return.

Pinocchio/Fantasia Unit

A more recent removal from the parade is the Pinocchio/Fantasia parade float. This large float was the second-to-last float in the parade and featured a variety of characters and performers. It has now joined the Princess float as a recent removal from the parade.

The lack of floats is on top of the fact that the parade is already running with a reduced number of performers following the extension of COVID-era cutbacks. Performers such as the Swan Court never returned, just like the Brave unit.
