Before Disney can begin on a much-needed repainting of the planets that define the facade of Mission: SPACE at EPCOT, they are starting with a pavement replacement project. The exterior refurbishment project has been on the books for a while now and could last through the summer as the plaza receives a facelift.
Here’s a look at the plaza today with a section of pavement removed. The plaza has cut lines throughout as crews prepare to replace all of the pavement within the site. Mission: SPACE remains open and unaffected by the exterior work.
