Encanto Photo Op Appears at Animal Kingdom as Disney Dreams Up Tropical Americas-Themed Land

An Encanto photo op has appeared at the entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the company dreams up a Tropical Americas-themed land to replace DinoLand USA.

The concept for a Tropical Americas land was presented this past weekend at the Destination D23 event by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Imagineer Bruce Vaughn. The concept calls for an Encanto-themed area where Chester & Hester’s DinoRama and Restaurantosaurus currently exist. An Indiana Jones retheme of the DINOSAUR attraction was also shown in the art.

Now, guests can find an Encanto photo op at the main entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, replacing the UP-themed photo op that used to sit in the same place.
