While visiting Disney’s BoardWalk recently, we noticed that construction walls have been removed from the Blue Ribbon Corn Dog kiosk. As a refresher, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs creates viral-worthy corn dog creations, and their inclusion at Disney’s BoardWalk will certainly be a popular one.
The Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs location was announced over a year ago now, and “construction” has been at a glacial pace – as is the case with another BoardWalk project – The Cake Bake Shop. That said, a recent change at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs location has us hopeful that it will open soon!
Construction Walls Removed at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
As you can see in our photos below, all construction “walls” (read: rolling planters), have been removed from around the location. That said, we don’t expect it to open in the next couple of days as a peek inside revealed that there is no kitchen equipment installed yet. Hopefully that changes soon. Here’s a look around!
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is located across from AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk. It looks like guests will order on the left side of the kiosk, with a “show kitchen” window in the middle, and pickup of the corn dog on the right side of the kiosk.

Walked by today and it looked like electricians were getting power hooked up. They were also cleaning and giving the outside what looks like a final cleaning. They still may have to bring the equipment in. The exterior of the cake shop was being painted. Roof still not finished but depending on how they finish it probably won’t take long.
