Tokyo Disneyland has announced that “it’s a small world with Groot” will debut on January 15, 2025 and have a limited-time run. The overlay will feature Groot, of course, as well as characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all designed to fit into the aesthetic of “it’s a small world”.
For the first time, “it’s a small world with Groot” will feature Marvel characters in an attraction at Tokyo Disney Resort. In this special, limited-time version of the attraction, Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and his other Super Hero friends are visiting Earth for vacation.
To allow for the arrival of Groot and his friends, “it’s a small world” will be closed at Tokyo Disneyland starting September 17, 2024.
Tokyo Disneyland released a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of some of the superheroes that guests will see during “it’s a small world with Groot” when it opens next year.
