The holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World, and one of the upcharge offerings this year is Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you’ve probably heard by now, Disney Jollywood Nights had a rough debut last year during its first year as an event, but Disney is sticking with the concept and making some changes this year. One of the returning offerings is the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM fireworks and projection show. The show is presented at an earlier time this year, which is a huge improvement over last year. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM Fireworks at Jollywood Nights
If Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM debuted in 2016 as part of the standard, nightly holiday lineup of entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now, the fireworks and projection show, which has been scaled back in recent years, sits behind the Jollywood Nights paywall. New this year is a move from a 12:30am showtime to a 10pm showtime, which means that it’s more well attended and that it’s halfway through the event instead of at the end of the night. It’s a nice change and one that we hope sticks going forward.
Actually, we would love to see an all-new holiday spectacular next year, but who knows if that’s in the budget.
