DinoLand USA Snack Stands Closed Permanently

While visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning, we stopped by to find that both Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks were closed permanently, as previously announced. Here’s a look at the two closed locations, followed by some information on where you can find some fan-favorite bites now that these locations are closed.

Interestingly, there has not been an expansion of the construction walls yet, but I would hope that we would see that shortly. It would be a bummer if these two locations closed 3-4 months early for nothing.

In general, the pace of the Tropical Americas project has been impressive, with vertical construction already underway for an all-new Encanto-themed attraction. Here’s a look at the two closed locations.

Fans of the Buffalo Chicken Chips from Trio-Bites will be happy to know that they can continue to be found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and will move to Eight Spoons Cafe on Discovery Island!

Likewise, a number of flavored Dole Whip floats can now be found in the Warung Outpost in Asia following the closure of Trilo-Bites.

With Dino-Bites closed, guests will have to head to Tamu Tamu Refreshments and Anandapur Ice Cream Truck to find soft-serve ice cream, floats, and sundaes. Disney says that hand-scooped ice cream will return at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in February 2026.
