According to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, starting May 17, Lord Henry Mystic and Albert will take turns stepping out from Mystic Manor to meet guests from around the world, sharing captivating stories from their extraordinary expeditions. Guests can meet and interact with the characters across the Mystic Point themed land, where the duo will bring their adventures to life and showcase the wonders they have discovered.
The two characters will not appear at the same time. While Lord Henry Mystic ventures afar, the mischievous monkey Albert will be joined by his new zoologist friend, Charlotte, who looks after him as they explore Mystic Point together.
May 17 is also the 13th anniversary of Mystic Point’s opening day, making the debut a fitting milestone moment for the land and its characters.
Part of the Grand Finale of “The Most Magical Party of All”
The Lord Henry and Albert experiences arrive as part of the grand finale chapter of Hong Kong Disneyland’s 20th anniversary celebration. The year-long event, titled “The Most Magical Party of All,” has featured Disney Friends taking turns as seasonal party hosts throughout the year. Lord Henry and Albert serve as the final featured hosts before the celebration concludes on June 7, 2026.
Hong Kong Disneyland describes the finale as “the most electrifying chapter of the party,” alongside the return of the anniversary-limited Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle! show, the resort’s largest-ever Friendtastic! parade, and the nighttime spectacular Momentous: Party in the Night Sky.
Hong Kong Disneyland first teased Lord Henry and Albert’s arrival back in September 2025 as part of a broader reveal of seasonal events running through the end of the anniversary year. At the time, the park described Lord Henry as “the eccentric adventurer and curator of Mystic Manor” venturing beyond the manor to join the celebration, with Albert set to appear in an all-new interactive experience.
What This Means for Mystic Point Fans
Since Mystic Manor opened on May 17, 2013, Lord Henry and Albert have only existed within the attraction itself, making this the first opportunity for guests to meet the characters in person anywhere at the resort. The addition of Charlotte as a new supporting character also expands the world of Mystic Point beyond what currently exists inside the ride.
OUR TAKE: This is excellent. Mystic Manor is one of our favorite attractions in any Disney theme park around the world. Offering guests the ability to meet and interact with characters from the beloved attraction is an awesome experience. Kudos to Hong Kong Disneyland and the teams who brought this experience to life. Albert in particular looks amazing and we can’t wait to see how guests interact with the playful monkey. We’re also interested to see if there is more to learn about Charlotte, and her role in Mystic Point.
