Walt Disney World hosts the 2027 Marathon Weekend January 6th through 10th, with Donald Duck in the spotlight to mark the Half Marathon’s 30th anniversary. Disney describes the medals as ready to make each runner’s “finish-line moment unforgettable.” Donald also joins the Three Caballeros on the 10K medal for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, which takes place October 23rd through 25th.

Pluto leads the 5K medal, sitting with his tongue out in a blue collar on a gray-blue shield. A circular Donald medallion sits at the upper left, with the duck’s arms thrown up in celebration. The ribbon carries the same gray-blue color, with Pluto and the “5K” marking running down its length.

Chip ‘n’ Dale share the 10K medal, both wearing headbands on a bright magenta panel. A wavy silver frame surrounds the panel, and a Donald medallion sits inside the zero of the “10K” lettering. Chip ‘n’ Dale reappear on the pink ribbon, which has a yellow border along the bottom.

The half marathon medal takes the shape of a 30, with Donald’s sailor cap perched on top of the 3. Donald fills the front in a determined sprint, complete with a glare and flying drops of sweat. A hinged cover on the right swings open to reveal Daisy, who cheers with both arms in the air. “30 Years” appears on the blue ribbon, next to a zero styled after Donald’s sailor suit and red bow.

Mickey and Minnie lead the marathon medal, a red shield with an orange “26.2 MILES” marking behind them. Both sprint in blue sneakers, and Minnie wears her blue bow. Donald waves from the upper right while holding up a medal of his own. A red ribbon repeats the 2027 date and the marathon lettering.

Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge and Dopey Challenge Medals

Goofy sprints across the front of the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge medal, a teal hexagon, in blue sneakers and yellow shorts. Runners earn it by finishing the half marathon and the marathon, a combined 39.3 miles. The side panels swing open on hinges to reveal a navy center panel marked “39.3 MILES.” Donald stands inside with his arms in the air, holding medals in each hand.

Dopey anchors the Dopey Challenge medal, a purple octagon covered in glitter. He bounds across the front in his green tunic with a fist raised, and the medal opens like a locket. One side shows Dopey holding a handful of medals, and the other features “48.6 MILES” in glittering blue numerals, the total for all four races.

Runners who finish all four races earn six medals in all, including the four individual medals, the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge medal, and the Dopey Challenge medal. Each design pairs its own character with sparkles, and several carry small white feathers.
