Disney Vacation Club has shared a first look at Branch & Brush, a new lounge at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, along with a fresh look at the resort’s grand lobby. The reveal comes one week before reservations open to all guests on October 8th. Disney says Branch & Brush will serve handcrafted cocktails with views of Bay Lake, while the lobby adds a custom bronze centerpiece surrounded by a fiberoptic river. Here’s the latest.

Branch & Brush sits just beyond the lobby at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. Disney introduces it as “a new lounge offering handcrafted cocktails and breathtaking views of Bay Lake.” The design draws on the changing seasons, with rich colors, natural textures, and a collection of artwork. Disney frames it as a place to unwind after a day of adventure, including with a nightcap.

A color-changing chandelier hangs at the heart of the lounge. Disney says the fixture will bring all four seasons to life. The room should shift in look as the lighting changes. Branch & Brush joins Dandelion Terrace, the lounge with views of Magic Kingdom fireworks that Disney detailed in August. Disney has not said whether Branch & Brush also offers fireworks views. It has not shared a menu or hours either.

A Fresh Look at the Grand Lobby

Floor-to-ceiling windows define the lobby, and Disney says they will let the beauty of nature greet guests from the moment they arrive. Those windows frame The Wetlands, the outdoor recreation area Disney revealed in June. The lobby takes its inspiration from the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas.

As we reported when Disney first showed the lobby, a fiberoptic river will run across the floor. Disney now says that river will illuminate the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. Guests who look closely will spot “many familiar friends from decades of Disney animated storytelling” etched into the design, according to Disney. Disney has not said which characters appear.

Overhead, the blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture will hang with hundreds of suspended glass leaves, a detail Disney also shared in August. Disney says the sculpture will fill the space with movement, color, and wonder. The bronze centerpiece is the new addition to the lobby lineup.
