Guests who find themselves strolling World Showcase in the morning will find a lot of closed EPCOT International Festival of the Arts food booths and art displays. However, there is one festival booth that is open for breakfast! Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina is open starting at 9am and offers a special breakfast menu before 10:30am when it transitions into its regular menu. While strolling World Showcase this morning, we decided to grab some breakfast! Here’s our review.

Breakfast Empanada – $6.75
with Ham, Egg, and Cheese
This was actually pretty good! A crunchy exterior contrasted the fluffy eggs inside. There was just enough ham to add something different to the empanada, but we might’ve enjoyed it a bit more with a kick of something spicy.
Breakfast Coffee – $3.75
with Mocha, Milk, and Sweetener
Another good option, this came with milk, sweetener, and mocha which made it a very approachable coffee that almost tasted like hot chocolate.
Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie – $4.75
Another nice offering, the Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie is something that’s on the regular menu, but sounded good enough to get for breakfast and we’re glad we did. It was surprisingly balanced, with the coconut and passion fruit complimenting each other nicely without one flavor dominating. A themed vessel is always worth an extra half-star in our books.
Overall, we wouldn’t call this breakfast a must-do, but it did exceed expectations and is an easy strolling option given the handheld nature of an empanada.
