Two more Smellephants have been installed in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom as Disney World prepares to roll out the Smellephants on Parade activation. Smellephants on Parade is presented by multi-level marketing company Scentsy. The multi-level marketing company also inked a sponsorship of Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride as part of the deal.
As described by Disney World, Smellephants on Parade invites guests on an interactive search-and-sniff experience. When entering Storybook Circus, guests will stumble upon a casting call posted by Timothy Q. Mouse, seeking out a “Whiff-sistant” to join Dumbo’s newest act. At the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs, a cast member will provide guests with an illustrated map of the land and a sticker sheet to guide them in their first task as a Whiff-sistant.
We provided a first look at the popcorn-styled (and eventually scented) pachyderm last week, and now two more Smellephants have been installed.
Caramel Apple
Over near the main entrance to Big Top Souvenirs, guests will find what appears to be a caramel apple Smellephant. The half-dipped elephant sports a drum that actually sounds like a drum when kids climb up to smack it (a common occurrence in the 15 minutes that we spent in the area). Here’s a closer look!
Snowcone
It’ll be interesting to see how multi-level marketing company Scentsy pulls this one off, but the next Smellephant is styled to a snowcone. This Smellephant can be found near the Lightning Lane entrance to Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
