At D23 Expo, Disney announced their next DVC venture, Disney Riviera Resort. We recently took to the skies to get a look at their progress.

Since our last flyover, Disney has finished the demolition of the existing structures. The standing water on the left is where the final demolition took place.

Continuing over the site, we see that the upcoming Disney Skyliner station is also represented by standing water (left of the road).

A wide view from over Caribbean Beach Resort, looking towards the site.

Zooming in a bit, we’re able to see what appears to be some work on what could be the perimeter of the resort footprint.

Here’s a look at the concept art released at D23 Expo. The resort is expected to open in Fall 2019 and feature a rooftop restaurant with views of nighttime shows at both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
