Hot on the heels of our Disney Riviera Resort photo update, we shift our focus south to the Caribbean Beach Centertown construction. Portions of the Centertown area closed in May to make room for a new waterfront dining area and a retail shopping area.

Cropping in a bit, we can see some new forms going in on the other side of the construction wall next to the pool area.

We can also see that the parking lot and main entrance has been completely cleared to make room for the expansion project.

Finally, here’s a look at the resort as it appeared in satellite imagery before the work began.

Disney hasn’t made more details available about the expansion, but we’ll update once more information is released.
