The price of a standard ear headband has just gotten a bit more expensive. Pricing at the parks and online at ShopDisney.com reflect the new price of $29.99, up from a standard $27.99 in the past.
Of course, a significant number of novelty ear headbands are priced above “standard” pricing, with some now priced at a whopping $600!
With the $2 increase plus tax, it’ll put a standard-priced ear headband over $30. What do you think? Is $30 too much for an ear headband or will you gladly shell out the cash for the latest color trend ears?
Has even been a year since the last $2.00 increase? I will only shell out that much if it is a pair I just have to have. I find disney ears hurt my head after awhile.
My family and I are life long Disneyland fans. We vacation twice a year. I try and mix it up a little between Spring break/ summer vacation..then Halloween party..this year we are doing Christmas time. There are 11 of us so it is very expensive. Over the years ive seen an increase in some things …thats normal..and yes, if you are gonna go to Disneyland you have to have the money. But, seriously 5.00 for a bottle of water? 10.00 for a slice of pizza? And those things you can choose not to buy..but souvenirs..they last a lifetime and the ears are the symbol of Disneyland.. the ears over the last 10 years have evolved and are sooo beautiful, creative, and they define the era of your experience… But 30+ dollars for ears…times a family of 11? Lol….not cool Walt..lol…remember why you made the park, “happiest place on earth” not to the Mom of 3 kids that are crying because she can’t afford 3!!!! jedi swords at 40.00 each. You can make it more affordable Mr. Disney, we promise we will come back.?
