Even though the Electric Umbrella refurbishment has been kicked down the road a few times, it looks like Disney will soon be closing the location for an extensive refurbishment as part of the Epcot Overhaul Project.
Taste Track Burgers and Fries will offer many of the same menu items as Electric Umbrella, although a final menu hasn’t been released yet. The new kiosk is expected to be installed near Test Track, perhaps even using the Donut Box structure that we first saw installed for the 2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
A closing date for Electric Umbrella hasn’t been announced yet, but it seems like the closure for refurbishment is imminent. Taste Track Burgers and Fries opens tomorrow, January 17th.
