Disney has confirmed the rumor that we reported a couple days ago. Disney officials, via the OC Register, said that the fan-favorite Soarin’ Over California will replace the updated Soarin’ Around the World during the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival.
The current plan is to bring the “Over California” version to the park from February 28th to April 21st.
Last year, Soarin’ Over California returned to the park at what was expected to be a very busy time at the Disneyland Resort during the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Disney hopes that bringing the attraction back will absorb some of the large crowds showing up daily to try and ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland.
