As Disney continues to modify its list of what restaurants will and won’t be open, they snuck in the fact that a modified character dining experience would be available in the theme parks.
As we wrote back at the end of May, Disney has cancelled all Character Dining experiences at Walt Disney World as a result of enhanced safety measures around the parks and resorts. When Disney reopened the resorts, they announced that they would offer a modified Character Dining experience at Topolino’s Terrace. Essentially, a modified Character Dining experience is just the characters keeping their distance and posing for some photos without visiting individual tables.
Today, Disney updated their website to notate that Garden Grill would be reopening at EPCOT and that it would feature a modified Character Dining experience. At this time, this is the only dining location in the theme parks that will have a modified Character Dining experience.
