Lowest Tier Annual Passholders Return to Sold Out Theme Park Reservations

As the lowest tier Annual Passholders count down the days until their summer blockouts are lifted (2 weeks from today), they’re returning to very few options when it comes to the first few of days that they’re allowed to return.

Sliver Passholders and Weekday Select Passholders are able to return to the Walt Disney World theme parks on August 7th after being blocked out for the past few months.

According to the Disney Park Pass availability calendar, August 7th through 10th are currently unavailable for Passholders to make reservations for at any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. Keep in mind that this is after Disney added more availability for Passholders to July and August back on July 16th.

While all Annual Passholders were able to make reservations on June 26th, there will likely be less rolling availability once Silver and Weekday Select Passholders are able to return to the theme parks. All levels of Annual Passes select reservations from the same “bucket”, which might mean that some of the higher tiers of Annual Passholders will find it more difficult to make theme park reservations starting on August 7th.

Disney said that while they added more availability for Passholders on July 16th, they did not increase the overall theme park capacity.

    1. I have to say, the point of view that “ some of the higher tiers of Annual Passholders will find it more difficult to make theme park reservations starting on August 7th.” comes across as a bit elitist. The “lower tiers” of pass holders had the same timeframe to make reservations for this upcoming period when their blackout dates are over. Once they jump in, the availability for dates will decrease for ALL. No matter how much they paid.

    2. I have California Residence tickets they were expire in May since it was close are there going to be Excited it or we get a refund on those tickets?

    3. I want to see out of state pass holders be able to get 7 day reservations. What good is three days?? It’s like you want us to go to the competition. I have 4 platinum plus passes and a special needs child. I bought those to be able to hop, go to water parks, and go to Epcot every day because that’s what he wants to do. Giving me three days and no hopping is not what I spent 4200 dollars for. Oh and stay on property for length of stay? All the reasonable hotels are closed!! Are you paying my timeshare maintenance while I stay on property?? You want to offer me a 52 day refund?? So what. I disappointed my child be canceling 2 trips. Plus a third one coming in September. Keep your refund

    4. I have a weekday pass and I made a reservation for 8/11 the day it came Avalible. Week days will be easier than weekends.

    5. They were able to book those days the same as everyone. The idea that they’re shut out due to having a silver pass doesn’t make any sense.
