Disney World Asks Large Traveling Parties to Split Up to Promote Physical Distancing

One of the areas where physical distancing breaks down most often in the attraction queues is when large parties travel together. While the physical distancing markers placed within the queue are closer to 8-10′ between spaces than a strict 6′, larger parties can still easily span multiple markers.

When we visit the theme parks, we let common sense guide our movements, which means sometimes leaving an open physical distancing marker between our group and the party in front of us, but Disney has recently updated their website to offer guidance for larger parties:

Guests traveling in parties of more than 10 are asked to split into smaller groups in queues, dining locations and other areas around our parks and resorts to better allow for physical distancing.
