As Disney continues to refresh various corners of their theme parks ahead of the 50th anniversary celebration that kicks off this October, the character banners that line the Fantasmic queue have undergone a refurbishment.
At the risk of reading too much into banners being refreshed, we have also seen some nighttime testing of Fantasmic. One of the pre-requisites we’ve always heard of for a return of nighttime entertainment is a relaxation of social distancing requirements. While there have been no such changes, Disney continues to keep an eye on vaccination news and more to determine which policies can be relaxed. Just today, Disney is officially allowing guests to remove their masks for physically distanced, outdoor photos.
