Beginning today, Walt Disney World will no longer take the temperatures of Cast Members before they head into work. The relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions for Cast Members comes more than a week before the end of Guest temperature checks on May 16th.

Walt Disney World said that the decision to end temperature checks at its theme parks and resorts is supported by local health and government officials.

Disney has forecasted that face coverings will remain mandatory into the fall season. As far as relaxing other safety measures in line with others in the industry, Disney has not announced any changes to physical distancing requirements at this time.
