The Voyage of The Little Mermaid show has yet to reopen following the COVID-19 shutdowns last summer. Rumors have previously swirled that the show would be closed permanently, but Disney has remained silent about the show even more than a year later.

Now, some recent changes outside of the show building seem to indicate that a reopening of the show isn’t imminent.

As you can see in our photos below, the wait time/FastPass+ sign has been removed from the entrance. This could be because the show will remain closed…or it could be getting a new sign outfitted with Lightning Lane verbiage. Time will tell.

In addition to the sign being removed, the queue area has been turned into a relaxation area that is out of the sun and under cover from afternoon storms.
