The Voyage of the Little mermaid queue is in use again, albeit not for the actual show, which remains closed.
As you can see in the photos below, the queue is marked and utilized during high traffic times when the Slinky Dog Dash queue extends out of Toy Story Land and back towards the Star Wars Launch Bay. Here’s a look at how long the lines can get.
The markers appear to be making their way towards the entrance to the shuttered show, but they make u-turn before heading back out towards the walkway that leads to Slinky Dog Dash. This queue is oftentimes used in the mornings and weekends when the lines can get long.
Unfortunately, the queue markers do not signal the return of the show. As a matter of fact, while Disney has brought back one stage show in form of the Frozen Sing-Along, there aren’t any indications that other shows will return in the immediate future. It’s likely that the Frozen Sing-Along was brought back because of how easy it is to allow for physical distancing of the on-stage, maskless performers.
