Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has extended its operating schedule through November 12th after previously only posting hours through November 5th.
Typhoon Lagoon has been operating now since January 2022 after being closed due to the pandemic. Blizzard Beach has been under refurbishment since January and Disney has not announced a reopening date. It is thought that Typhoon Lagoon will close once Blizzard Beach reopens, but that has also not been confirmed. Disney typically likes to close one water park during the winter months for refurbishment as demand falls with the temperatures. The water park operating schedule has essentially been thrown off since March 2020 and it’s very likely that Disney would prefer to have both water parks open for the summer season, but that hasn’t been possible since 2019.
