Progress is moving along nicely for the new Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The new building, which can be seen in the concept art below, will take over the former Spirit of Aloha area between the main Polynesian Village campus and the Grand Floridian wedding venue.

We recently stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to take a look at the busy construction site from the ground and on the monorail. Here’s a look around!

We’ll start with a look from the grounds of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where a lot of construction sounds can be heard from the Aotearoa, Fiji, and Tuvalu buildings on the west side of the resort.

Jumping on the monorail, we’ll zip past the site from south to north.
