The frustrating on-again, off-again saga of trusting the Walt Disney World website for information continues. Earlier this week, Walt Disney World published an update to the Extended Evening Hours webpage showing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as being available during the after-hours perk for Deluxe Resort guests. According to information available on the Disney World website yesterday morning, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would be available during Extended Evening Hours, and guests would need to join a Virtual Queue to be able to ride – similar to how TRON Lightcycle Run or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind operate during EEH.
At the time, operating hours were not updated for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but its inclusion in two separate spots on the Extended Evening Hours webpage had to be intentional. It’s worth noting that the Virtual Queue webpage was not updated with information for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure during EEH.
Two nights ago, guests attending Extended Evening Hours informed us that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was not operational during the event and that the Virtual Queue was never opened for guests to join. Yesterday morning, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was still listed as an available attraction, although it has been removed from the Virtual Queue information block.
This morning, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been completely removed from the Extended Evening Hours website. Disney World did not respond to a request for comment. At this point, I think it’s safe to assume that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will not be part of Extended Evening Hours in the immediate future.
